Illusions of Reality

An illusion is a false idea or belief or wrong or subjective, misinterpreted perception of a sensory experience. Illusions can be something that is presented to you externally as false information that you believe or something presented accurately but you intentionally interpret incorrectly. Philosophers and scientists often debate the true nature of reality, and a common philosophy is that a person’s reality is whatever he or she thinks it is. Tim Burton once said: “One person’s craziness is another person’s reality”.

The illusion we fall for is, that this reality, we live in, is exactly what the world is. The very fact that the human-made world could exist in many other possible realities, other than our current reality, is the biggest illusion of all.
